Assurance
PCL’s approach to quality is legendary. We guarantee our Alum-ex sections in
the same manner as we guarantee our cables. Quality consideration is reflected in all
phases right from the selection of raw material to delivery of finish product.
BEST RAW MATERIALS
ALUM-EX sections are extruded from imported prime quality billets of aluminium alloy
6063, the internationally recommended alloy for architectural applications. The chemicals
used for the anodizing process are of very high quality & German origin, thus ensuring
a trouble free product.
INCOMING MATERIAL INSPECTION
All raw materials, though received from renowned suppliers, are subjected to strict
inspection before being issued for manufacturing. No compromise is made on quality.
PROCESS CONTROL
At each stage of production, strict quality control is observed. Latest &
sophisticated equipment/instruments are employed to control & maintain important
process parameter like temperature, pressure etc.
Imported dies are used for aluminium
extrusions so that critical product parameters like surface finish, uniform thickness
& shape can be maintained.
Fully automatic aging oven is used for heat
treatment of aluminium after extrusion to give aluminium required strength.
The aluminium extrusions conforms to ASST,
B221 & BS-1474.
After heat treatment, aluminium sections are
anodized & electro-colored in most modern plant which comprises of 16 process baths.
The anodizing process conforms to BS-3987 & AAMA class I specifications.
Different process parameters like temperature,
concentration of various tanks are carefully maintained & controlled.
PCL has a full fledged laboratory for analysis
of different process chemicals. With the help of the laboratory, consistency in the
process & product parameter is ensured.
FINAL INSPECTION
The finished product is subjected to following checks :-
Anodic coating measurement.
Sealing measurement.
Color tone matching.
All efforts are made to ensure that only right
quality are delivered to customers.

managed by well qualified, experienced & adequately trained professionals.
